Headlines: No Saddam, al-Quaida Link. Boy oh boy - except for Sen. Byrd from WV and a few others, we have some geniuses in the Senate, don't we? My head nearly spinned off as it turned in the double-take I had while saying, "Wh-a-a-a-a-a-t???" when they attacked Iraq in response to 9-11. They should have just asked me right in the beginning, saved a bunch of time and money.
Chris Matthews showcased David Corn's book "Hubris" yesterday. I keep waiting for Matthews to do a piece on PNAC's Statement of Principles right after one of these, but he never does. This time, instead of threatening to write to some editor or reporter, I'm really going to do it. Matthews needs to showcase who signed PNAC, their Statement of Principles, and let's just see who's involved, and why, in this Iraq war....not that any common American idiot who should pay attention to the lies will bother with Matthews, (again, I preach to the choir here (mostly) but I gotta blow off my steam somewhere) but perhaps, just perhaps, if Matthews does a piece, some mainstream goon will Git-R-Done too. It happened after Al Gore's movie. I never know if I'm more disgusted with the sheep following the slaughter, AKA: the Press, or those geniuses in Congress. It's all utterly embarrassing. Now, I'm past wearing a t-shirt that says, "I love the Dixie Chicks;" now, it's "The Dixie Chicks are right." Monica, where are you?!!!
